Method 1.
You need to install the sound card drivers from the sound card manufacturer's website for Windows 7. Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard disc will have Mac drivers which are not compatible with Windows 7. Contact the sound card manufacturer to obtain the Windows 7 Compatible drivers.
If you have the Realtek sound card on your Macbook then you need to download the drivers from the website below:
